From rugged mountains and desert landscapes to the Bohai coast and southwestern frontiers, three new Sungrow Smart Classrooms were completed across China in September. During the back-to-school season, a special Sungrow Back-to-School Open Class was simultaneously launched in six cities nationwide.
Featuring Dr. Jing Hairong, Deputy Director of the Beijing Planetarium and one of Beijing’s Top Ten Science and Technology Figures, the special class took students on a journey across time and space, inspiring them to explore the beauty of science and knowledge while broadening their horizons.
Three More Sungrow Smart Classrooms Completed
Care never stops, and progress continues to accelerate. As a key initiative of the Sungrow Positive Energy Initiative, the development of Sungrow Smart Classrooms is advancing rapidly. Recently, three new Sungrow Smart Classrooms integrating remote teaching, teaching assistance, and interactive learning functions were completed and officially delivered to Jianggezhuang Central Primary School in Laoting County, Tangshan, Huaqiao Central Primary School in Xing’an County, Guilin, and Wenxing Primary School in Shishou, Hubei.
To enable students to access smart classrooms at the beginning of the new semester and benefit from high-quality educational resources as early as possible, the Sungrow Positive Energy Initiative team, together with the China Social Welfare Foundation, worked closely across key areas including site selection, construction, and educational resource deployment. Through efficient coordination and accelerated implementation, the three smart public welfare classrooms were completed before the start of the autumn semester.
As an important platform for modern education, the core value of Sungrow Smart Classroom lies in its smart remote education capabilities, which overcome geographical barriers and limitations of time and space. It helps schools in remote and underserved areas improve educational infrastructure and access richer teaching resources, which is why existing Sungrow Smart Classrooms are primarily established in rural and underdeveloped regions.
The completion of each Sungrow Smart Classroom enables students in these areas to overcome geographical limitations, access more diverse educational resources, promote educational equity, and support rural revitalization.

It addresses the gaps in our educational resources, and its impact on students is truly immeasurable,” said Wang Yuelin, Principal of Jianggezhuang Central Primary School in Laoting County, at the opening ceremony of the school’s new Sungrow Smart Classroom.
A New Semester Begins with Six Schools Joining the Open Class
Following the completion of three new Sungrow Smart Classrooms in Hebei and other regions, the classrooms quickly demonstrated their core function of connecting external educational resources and expanding learning boundaries. During the back-to-school season, a public welfare open class organized by the Sungrow Positive Energy Initiative was simultaneously delivered across six schools. During the class, Dr. Jing Hairong used engaging and accessible explanations to introduce astronomy, the universe, and new energy applications, while interacting with students through Q&A sessions. The children not only enjoyed rich and inspiring lessons but also experienced the power of “exploring the world from the classroom.” This is the unique value of the Sungrow Smart Classroom — breaking geographical barriers, connecting students with the outside world, and enabling high-quality educational resources to reach across time and space. Looking ahead, Sungrow New Energy will continue to uphold its corporate social responsibility, advance public welfare initiatives, and promote positive change.
